I found my excuse wearing thin
And realized I’m addicted to sin
A terrible thought this is

This isn’t what I’d intended to do
But I’m sitting here at the bottom
Of this hole I just dug for myself
And I found a stray thought
Flying through my head

I’m so sorry,
I see that you were right
But all I ever did
Was stand my ground and fight

in a whirl of shattered signatures
pulling him closer to say
"wait a moment - "
but he silences you with a kiss
and says
"this is the way it goes."
and so it goes
until he's breaking your spine
with every turn
and stepping on jointed toes
you want to finish the song
won't someone cut in?
but you're twirling faster
and faster
until he smiles a

this is the day on the tip of my tongue
and the edge of my seat
because i'm biting down
so as not to fall.
there are clouds in the sky
but the sun's in my heart
and someone forecast
eighty degrees of beautiful.
with tangerine nail polish
chipped away by
nervous hands,
i'm drawing up my smile
across my face,
across my city.
i'm cartwheeling down alleyways
and calling out for taxis
in a voice that's breaking with joy.
i'm tired of treading
head down
spirit dead
in a world saturated in greyscale.
i'm going to sharpen my wit
and i'll smudge up a grin

MorningsThere is something about
Waking up to the smell of coffee
And pastries on the bedstand.
The sound of the morning rain
Tap-tap-tapping on the windowsill
While you lie there, dreaming.

As birds are chirping
You slowly awaken from a peaceful
Slumber and know that voice.
The voice of reason and love.
It speaks slowly and softly
With pillow-like syllables.

Your feet pad down on the
Wooden floor: cold and hard.
The rain is still tap-tap-tapping
And you smile to yourself.
The mist settles outside
And a day slowly begins.

getting paid to read music

so that she's a percussionist in
jamaica, laughing along to the
steel drums filled with tourists

craig doesn't fancy, he's plain
and he's draining the bottles
that ruby uses to imagine she's
somewhere other than in the
room where he's upset, unhappy
and throwing vases at the floor
when she's beautiful he says
he loves her amber waves and
the bubbly feeling she puts in
his stomach, which sounds
uncomfortably familiar to her

A moment of silenceEver close your eyes, to see the colours dance?
Peaceful smiling sighs, the beginning of a trance.

All which can be heard is beyond your current mind,
A momentary silence holding your ears blind.

The thud of bloodflow sings, but nothing else is clear,
The silence of the moment, clenching eye and ear.

Physical senses are reduced, you have nothing to fear,
Your inner voice can sing; that is all you wish to hear.

Because I am a MachineOnce upon a time, there was a beautiful, and yet pathetic society. This wasn't man's fault- because it's the machines' turn now. I should now, since I'm one of them. Or, at least, I thought I was, but I'm sure of what I am and what they will never be.

As I said, the world of machines was dull, despite the fact we can do so much. My peers, however, were afraid of what I could do. So they started the human's mirror. They created artificial skin with beautiful, and yet pathetic faces. Those fools thought they could pretend to be man. Those beautiful, and yet pathetic fools didn't know what it's like to destroy, generate, or enhance.

But I did.

you have 2 parents right? or maybe 4-5 with exceptional step parents and stuff. how many siblings? 24 like patrice evra ? or 14 like my grandpa ? How many good friends ? 1 ? or 5 or 10 ? how many mates ? 20 ? 30 ? 100 ? okay . How many people you know by name ? 300? 500 ? 1000? count the people you met online even , people uve seen in street even! 10 000? 20 000? come on. lets count the ones uve seen on tv or newspapers or on books and anything . 50 000? 100 000 ?

Do you see ? that would make 120 654 plus exception at the maximum.that's your world . that's all you'll ever interact in all your life. a world that's 125 000 at maximum !

i want to be long lasting in your life
like the tissue you pulled out ot its packet
and now you can’t put it back in
i want to be helpful
like the needle you attach to your bikini
for the case of cramp while swimming
i want our time to be in a sandglass
a sandglass that is stuck already
i want to pop up in your hardest time
with ice blocks in my hand
to freeze up your hell
i want to freeze it up for you
when it says “drink cold please”
i want to follow you
even into that whole
that a snake cant pass through
look at me !
i can carve these eyes if they won’t look at you
i don’t need these hands if they won’t touch you
these legs can stuck if you won’t wait for me
and the smoke can fuck my lungs up
cause this heart won’t beat if you don’t love me!
